Today I would like to show you where all Cottongrass ideas emerge and transform into textile projects. I was super excited about finding this studio space at the end of 2017. It's located in the historical imperial quarter in the heart of Poznań, at Fredry 7 street. Visitors are welcome!

The building itself is a part of the former imperial castle complex, built in 1910. Historically it provided accommodation for servants working in the castle. Today it’s a part of city’s cultural centre.

The loom room is wide and bright, with convenient countertops running along two walls – there’s never enough flat space to spread your tools/textile projects/yarns/samples/finished textiles/all of the above!

The ‘handwoven corner’ – all textiles available in the online shop are on permanent display in the studio.

Tagged samples, ready to be touched and examined by the visitors.

And last but not least, coffee. Tastes best when served in Bolesławiec cups.

Feel welcome to pop in while in Poznań, you will find the directions and contact details here.
